 Islamabad, 09 July 2009: The 12th
meeting of ERRA Board was held at ERRA
HQ under the Chairmanship of Mr. Altaf
Muhammad Saleem, Chairman ERRA. The
meeting was attended by ERRA Board
Members including Additional Secretary
M/O Defense, Additional Secretary (EAD),
Chief Secretary AJK and Secretary
(P&D) NWFP as well as ERRA’s senior
officials.
Deputy Chairman ERRA Lt General Sajjad Akram briefed the
Board about
recent developments and efforts made
by ERRA for efficient and smooth
implementation of the reconstruction
and rehabilitation drive in the
earthquake affected areas.
ERRA Board approved the PC-1s for the
reconstruction and rehabilitation of
various development projects including
reconstruction of King Abdullah
University at Chatter Klass
Muzaffarabad and Rawalakot, District
Government Complex Rawalakot, 350
bedded DHQ Hospital Mansehra, and
retrofitting of Ayub Medical Complex
Abbottabad. These projects will now be
sent for approval to the CDWP and
ECNEC.
The participants of the meeting
commended the efforts of ERRA towards
achievement of targets set by the
Government of Pakistan. The
performance, dedication and hard work of
ERRA’s functionaries was highly
commended by the Board members. The
Board also appreciated the efforts
made by ERRA for making savings
through efficient planning process.
