 Islamabad,
13 July 2009: A high powered meeting
to review the implementation status of
various development projects in the
five earthquake affected districts of
NWFP was held at ERRA HQ here on
Monday.
The Deputy Chairman ERRA, Lt Gen
Sajjad Akram, chaired the meeting,
which was also attended by Senior
officials of ERRA, PERRA and NESPAK.
DG PERRA delivered presentation on
status of various developmental
activities which are planned as well
as ongoing for the reconstruction and
rehabilitation of the earthquake
affected districts of NWFP.
The Director General PERRA also
apprised the participants about
progress on 2224 reconstruction and
rehabilitation projects in Education
Sector, 145 projects in Roads Sector,
95 projects in Health Sector, 960
projects in WatSan Sector and 346 pits
in Environment Sector.
The Deputy Chairman ERRA appreciated
the performance of PERRA team and
directed the concerned officials to
expedite the development work on all
the projects, so that the benefits of
these projects may be transferred to
the affected Communities. |
