ERRA – WatSan sector organized a three days Training workshop of Master Trainers through PIU-Rainwater Harvesting Project (PERRA) KP for Rainwater Harvesting System installation, at UC Shamdara Oghi.

The first day of the Training started with the recitation of Holy Quran and then Provincial Coordinator (Ms Kaneez Sughra) briefly described the objective of the Training. Later on Ms Kaneez Sughara also briefed the community about Rainwater Harvesting Project. Local MNA Mr.Laiq Khan presided over the opening session and appreciated ERRA’s initiative of RWH to address the water scarcity issue.

The second day of the training was dedicated to the practical training of Rainwater Harvesting system. Mr. Niaz Khan was the instructor.

The third and final day of the Training was closing day. Local community, master trainers, PIU staff and ERRA officials participated in the closing session. DG- WatSan Syed Zaheer Hussain Gardezi & Mr.Sheraaz Mehmood Qureshi (philanthropist) were the chief guests and the guest of honor. DG WatSan –ERRA congratulated local community for being the first one chosen to kick off physical activities of the project.MR Sheeraz Mehmood Qureshi appreciated the innovative way resolving water shortage issues in EQAAs. Later on the ceremony was closed with the distribution of certificates and tool kits to the Instructor and Master Trainers by Chief Guest and Guest of Honor.
