Social
protection sector provides treatment and rehabilitation
of people with disabilities due to earthquake, cash
grant for landless people, while legal aid centers
actively help affectees to resolve legal issues
regarding eligibility criterion. Two 50 bedded Rehab
Centers, Four Resource Information Centers, Six Basic
Rehab Units, Women Resource Centers and Women
Development Complexes are being established in 9
affected districts to provide legal, medical, special
education, psychological counseling, referral services
and vocational training for vulnerable women, children
and the elderly.
